This year, The Nigerian Institution of Safety Engineers (NISafetyE), marks TEN years with a conference built to turn shared transport safety challenges into applied solutions. From Road, Marine, Aviation, Rail, and Pipeline Safety - together, for three days in Port Harcourt!

Why This Conference?

A highway crosses a rail line. A port feeds a pipeline. An airport sits beside a road network. Transport systems don't operate in isolation, and the engineers responsible for keeping them safe shouldn't either.

Most safety conferences pick one lane: roads, or rail, or aviation. ISEC 2026 does not!.

It puts road, marine, aviation, rail, and pipeline safety engineers on the same programme, in the same room, for three days, working through shared challenges toward solutions they can apply, not just talking points to take home.

What's on the Programme?

Three days combine three things: technical conference sessions spanning all five theme perspectives, the Institution's Annual General Meeting, and the 10th anniversary celebration. Full speaker lineup and session-by-session schedule will follow as confirmations come in.

This conference falls in The NISafetyE's 10th year of impactful existence. The anniversary is not a side-event tacked onto the programme, it runs inside the same three days as the conference and the AGM, alongside the people the institution exists to serve.
